Project Description:

The work carried out to this existing Nursing Home was completed in a number of phases over a 5 year period. The Clients principle instruction was to keep the Nursing Home open at all times while extending and improving the facility, in a controlled and safe manner.

Phase 1 was to provide a 3 bedroom first floor extension with associated day-space and toilet\bathing accommodation, to the rear. Phase 2 was to provide a 15 bedroom extension over two floors including day-space area, dining room area, toilet\bathing accommodation, treatment room and a lift, all to the side of the Nursing Home. Phase 3 for a garden conservatory day-space has fire certificate approval and disability access certificate has now also been completed.
