Project Description:

Links Crèche and Montessori is located in Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24. The requirement for the crèche came about from the success of the adjoining Business Campus and the requirement for a childcare facility on site to cater for the growing work-force on the Campus.

The design response to the linear site welcomed an opportunity to provide the majority of rooms to access a common play area on an east-south facing orientation. The external play areas are sub-divided to cater for each child’s age group. Off the internal circulation space the classrooms and associated facilities required are organised in a safe and meaningful way. The internal classrooms are all visually connected through bright and colourful spaces. An internal play street and a garden view art-room complete the spaces internally. Overall the crèche provides a happy, enjoyable and uplifting pre-school experience for the children.
