Student Village, Institute of Technology, Co. Mayo
The student village consists of 86 apartments in a design form of eight blocks that create two inner courtyards which act as meet and greet spaces for the students. Combinations of 2 and 3 storey blocks are positioned to create ease of circulation providing vistas between the courtyards, while also allowing daylight move through the courtyard spaces. A minimum palette of materials complete the finishes with ''punches'' of colour to a number of the external planes reflecting the character of the project.
