Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, Co. Kilkenny
When Southford Properties developed this hotel, they decided to engage a specialist firm of Interior Architects to fit-out the public spaces, comprising two bars, one for hotel residents and to attract local trade, the other to be trendy, appealing to the young generation and capable of holding live gigs, while also incorporating a restaurant, ballroom / banqueting facility and a conference centre. The fit out was neither to be too modern, nor too traditional, but certainly to befit a 5 star hotel and to be different from anything else Kilkenny had to offer.
